My work is not an empirical text, but rather a catalyst to provoke thought and imagination. Humanity places much value in the notion of the self, yet, through the varagies of time, a photographic identity may be lost and the subject's story forgotten. Memory may suffice for a season, but ultimately it is as transient as the paper of the photograph itself. It is my belief that a story untold is an identity lost. An anonymous portrait cast aside, I reclaim as a story to be rewritten. A new phantasmagorical tale.
